HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION BYPRODUCTS: When the polymer burns, water, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen chloride, and smoke can be produced.

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY, SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE, FIRST AID:
EYES:
May cause minor irritation. Flush eyes for fifteen minutes with clean water. See a doctor if irritation persists.
SKIN: No evidence of irritant properties. Wash from skin with soap and water.
INHALATION: Harmful effects not expected. For overexposure, move to fresh air.
INGESTION: Small amounts ingested should not be harmful. Treat symptomatically and see a doctor.
CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE AND ADDITIONAL HEALTH HAZARDS: No conditions known to be aggravated by exposure to this product. Respirable crystalline quartz has been found to be a suspected carcinogen by NTP, although no exposure is expected through use of this material. This material has not been tested in long term, chronic exposure tests.  

VII. SPILL RESPONSE AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION**********************

SPILL RESPONSE:

SPILL RESPONSE: Contain spill to limit it's spread. Mop up or absorb on inert material and place in containers. Do not flush into sewers or bodies of water.
WASTE DISPOSAL: If liquid, place in settling pond or solidify by other means. If dry, dispose of in an approved landfill or incinerate. Disposal to be in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. 

VIII. PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND PROCEDURES*******************************

EYE PROTECTION:

EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses or goggles recommended.
SKIN PROTECTION: Rubber gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirts.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Not normally needed.
OTHER PROTECTIVE PROCEDURES: Use under well ventilated conditions. Exercise good personal hygiene when working with this material.

IX. SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS AND OTHER COMMENTS****************************

No special labeling is required. Store in a cool place, avoid freezing, and minimize contact with air to prevent contamination with bacteria. Drill a hole in bottom of empty pails to prevent drowning of small children.
